We do our best to accommodate any formatting obstacles, but please try to stick to these guidelines. We value both our sanity and yours.

SUBS FOR CHAPBOOKS CLOSED
We're reading mostly poetry-based chapbook manuscripts of any theme from 20 to 40 pages!

GENERAL RULES
Response time: 1-3 weeks
Genre is meaningless! Send us anything (poetry, prose, art, etc.)

Upon acceptance of your work, you grant us North American Serial and Electronic Rights. These rights revert back to you upon publication.

HOW TO SUBMIT
We read submissions through email. Send us your work at inkandivylit@gmail.com!​

Include [YOUR NAME] - [GENRE*] - [ISSUE NUMBER/ANTHOLOGY NAME/CHAPBOOK] in the subject line

Submit writing in .pdf or Word document (.doc or .docx) file formats
​​
Submit art in .pdf or .jpeg/.jpg file formats (we prefer the latter!)
​
Subs across multiple genres are okay!

Simultaneous subs are okay! However, if your work is accepted elsewhere before we have a chance to get back to you, let us know so we can congratulate you and remove your submission from our queue.

WORD COUNT RESTRICTIONS
Prose/Hybrid: 500 words maximum
CNF/Flash Fiction: 1K words maximum
Poetry: up to 5 poems
Art: up to 5 pieces of art

BE A GOOD PERSON
ALL WORK GLORIFYING ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WILL BE REJECTED​

Racism, ableism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, xenophobia, sexual harassment or assault, and/or other bigoted themes, including Zionism (ink & ivy lit stands firmly against the genocide currently occurring against the Palestinian people).

For the well-being of our editors, we ask that all potentially triggering themes be flagged in the body of your email or prior to the piece in your submitted document (in case of written subs)
